Garuda Aerospace Limited is a Chennai-headquartered drone technology company founded in 2015 by Agnishwar Jayaprakash. It designs and manufactures unmanned aerial systems and offers Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) for agriculture, industrial inspection, mapping, surveillance and defence-linked applications, alongside a DGCA-approved pilot training programme.
The company operates a large fleet of drones across 80+ Indian cities and counts organisations such as ISRO, HAL and global aerospace players among its partners. Backers include Venture Catalysts, the Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office and other investors, with cricketer MS Dhoni associated as a shareholder and brand ambassador.
In March 2026 the company pre-filed a confidential DRHP with SEBI for a fresh-issue-plus-OFS IPO, alongside a board-approved 1:5 stock split (reducing face value from ₹10 to ₹2) and an earlier 85:1 bonus issue, with listing targeted for late 2026.
