About Goodluck Defence And Aerospace
Goodluck Defence and Aerospace, incorporated in August 2023 as a subsidiary of Good Luck India Limited, is a new entrant to the defence sector focused on manufacturing 155mm artillery shells, leveraging its parent's decades of experience in metal forging and machining.
The company plans a capex of around ₹250 crore, partly funded through a preferential issue, targeting production capacity of 150,000 shells per year for both domestic and export defence markets, using open forging, die forging and robotic forging methods.
Still in its early stage, the company posted modest profits of about ₹1.84 crore in FY24 and ₹3.88 crore in FY25 on essentially no reported revenue yet, and Good Luck India Limited announced a further ₹500 crore defence capacity expansion in October 2025.
