About HDFC Securities Limited

HDFC Securities, founded in 2000 as a joint venture of HDFC Bank, HDFC Limited and Indocean eSecurities Holdings, is a Mumbai-based stock broking and financial-products distribution subsidiary of HDFC Bank, and a member of both the BSE and NSE.

The company became a wholly HDFC Bank-controlled entity after HDFC Bank bought out HDFC Limited's stake in 2006 and the remaining Indocean stake in 2008, and by March 2020 operated 262 branches across 161 Indian cities alongside its digital trading platforms.

Profit after tax grew from about ₹202 crore in 2016 to roughly ₹984 crore in 2022 before moderating; FY26 results showed PAT of about ₹929 crore, down 17% year-on-year, reflecting a cooling phase in capital-market activity after several strong years.
