About ORAVEL STAYS LIMITED (Oyo Unlisted Shares)
Oravel Stays, better known as OYO, runs a two-sided technology platform for the fragmented hospitality industry, incorporated in 2012 to help property owners turn under-branded storefronts into digitally enabled listings while giving travellers access to a wide range of stays.
Revenue rose from about ₹4,781 crore in FY22 to roughly ₹6,253 crore in FY25, and the company turned EBITDA-positive along the way, moving from a loss of ₹1,160 crore to a positive ₹1,036 crore over the same period, even as bottom-line profit stayed modest at around ₹245 crore in FY25.
OYO issued a 1:1 bonus share in September 2025, held an EGM in December 2025 covering its IPO and bonus plans, and filed its DRHP in June 2026; founder Ritesh Agarwal and his RA Hospitality Holdings vehicle together hold roughly 65% of the company.
